Talk about a way to start your directing career off with a bang! Bonnie Rotten‘s directorial debut, To The Core, is a contender for both AVN’s Best BDSM Movie of the Year and XBIZ’s Best Fetish Release Of The Year. This first production from Rotten’s own Mental Beauty Productions sees a string of innocent young beauties broken, destroyed, and dominated by some of porn’s biggest stars. Let’s take a look at how it delivers the deviance.
Scene 1-Taken at face value, the stellar lineup, along with the promise of forbidden pleasures, makes this title one difficult to overlook. Add to that the award nominations already in the bag and surely this is something that demands your attention. Speaking purely personally, things maintain a very positive note as Scene 1 opens. That’s because the very first thing to meet our eyes is delightful Asian porn star Alina Li, dressed up as every porn schoolgirl should be, in a pleated, plaid miniskirt, tight white blouse, and leg warmers. On a mission to prove to her extremely demanding father that she is a naive little girl no more, she meets up with the stunning Bonnie, whose task it is to make a woman out Alina with a little discipline.
And right there is where the hope and promise of this scene starts to fall a little flat. Now don’t get me wrong, I frankly cannot imagine a scene that at first glance could tick all of my “must have” boxes quite like this one. Submissive Asian hottie-check. Dominant tattooed stunner-check. Girl on girl action-check. Kinky BDSM sex-check. So far it’s like somebody got into my head and reeled off all of my perfect fantasy requirements and put them in a movie. Unfortunately as stunning as Bonnie Rotten looks in a black leather corset and fishnet stockings, a convincing dominatrix she is not. She tries hard throughout to pull it off and marks do have to be given for effort, but at no real point does she come across as somebody particularly comfortable with the role of a dominant Mistress.
So where does that leave us? Well, it leaves us with a scene that regardless is entertaining nonetheless because both girls are as hot as hell. We see all manner of things employed to bring the lovely Alina to a squirting climax (and boy, much like her illustrious co-star can she squirt!) From nipple pumps to clothespins, from floggers to heavy duty vibes, the scene goes through the gamut until both girls are on each end of a double ended dildo, fucking the life out of each other – the hottest part of the entire scene. Both girls look fabulous, with special mention to Alina who looks delectable all tied up and helpless. It’s an ok scene that many will probably enjoy, but it’s a little stilted and fails to really flow, hence it might leave your average BDSM aficionado a little underwhelmed.

Scene 2-Now I don’t know for certain but something tells me that Aiden Starr is familiar with bossing people around in the bedroom. The object of her domination, delicious redhead Ashlyn Molloy, wakes up in the dungeon of Ms. Starr after aimlessly roaming the mean streets of somewhere unknown. Things move quickly along, with Ashlynn collared and stripped, slapped and fingered, spat on and humiliated, placed in and attached to various devices, flogged, force fed, pussy fucked, and made to masturbate until she squirts her creamy load.
A much more convincing scene than the first, Aiden looks fantastic shrink wrapped in latex mini and tight top, and looks even better when the top comes off exposing her perfect curves. Each position moves pretty seamlessly into the next, adding to the overall feeling that Aiden is in complete control and knows exactly what she is doing. Ashlyn plays a very convincing subby. The slender redhead is absolutely gorgeous and throughout the entire scene I found myself flip flopping between which of the roles I would rather find myself in, and I have still yet to decide!
This scene that has you feeling more like a voyeur than a viewer of something staged, and it’s one I would highly recommend. It may find itself slipping quietly into my own personal collection.

Scene 3-Unfortunately, Scene 3 seems to pick up where Scene 1 left off in terms of mediocrity. There’s no question Skin Diamond and Alison Faye are extremely pleasing to the eye, even as Skin dons in the slightly odd looking circus ringmaster outfit. Even more odd is when she places a fake mustache (similar to one she is wearing) on willowy and slender Alison’s pussy. I know it was more for amusement than anything else, but I couldn’t imagine myself with my hungry tongue anywhere near anything with a mustache!
As highlights go, there is a little violet wand action at the beginning that was interesting. A fair amount of cunnilingus throughout was also enjoyable to watch, especially when Skin raised a leg and ordered Alison to bury her face in her pussy. It was a hot part of the scene despite the fact it was more of a gentle tongue flick than a burial (a pity). Had it been I on the receiving end of the order, I’d have been diving head first deep inside of her with no need for any further encouragement! With brief use of a gyno chair and accompanying instruments, a suspension rack, a strap-on, lots of spanking and flogging, some deep throat and finally some pussy fucking, the scene plods along to an underwhelming conclusion that sees Alison riding Skin’s strap on to the point of climax.
A scene that came across more as two friends playing with a few toys than anything more structured, Scene 3 sadly failed to capitalise on the momentum built up by Scene 2.

Scene 4-Bonnie Rotten returns in Scene 4, this time with slim redhead Zoey Nixon. With Bonnie as the Domme, things begin in a promising fashion with Zoey amidst a dream sequence, imagining herself at the mercy of Mistress Bonnie. The build up is nice, with Zoey touching and rubbing herself in her sleep as she plays out various scenes in her mind.
As Scene 4 plays, it loses a bit of direction. Bonnie the Domme is seemingly unsure of where to take things as they unfold. However, it’s not all bad. Things improve greatly when Bonnie leaves Zoey alone for a second and begins to play with herself. After squirting like a fire hydrant (I mean, wow) things again lack direction before Bonnie orders Zoey to fuck her ass with a dildo. It’s the hottest part of the scene. In fact, anything involving Bonnie as the subject, especially for an ass fuck, makes for extremely hot viewing. Frankly there needed to be more of this throughout.
Some pussy fingering, pussy eating, and vibe play sees the scene draw to a close with Zoey awaking from her dreamy sleep with a smile, leaving this viewer wondering what really might’ve been!

In Summary
With one stellar scene out of four, this movie is something of a missed opportunity. Bonnie Rotten does a better job of directing when she’s not also starring, and in my opinion, is not yet confident on screen as a Domme. Now a movie with Aiden Starr playing Domme to an unruly Bonnie Rotten sub I suspect would be a whole different ball game!
